Understand JFK pickup before you land

Compare Manhattan transportation by total trip, not headline fare

JFK publishes a regulated flat taxi fare between the airport and Manhattan, but tolls, tips and additional fees still matter. A private car may cost more or less depending on time, vehicle and service level. Compare the complete amount, pickup certainty, luggage fit and whether the trip includes extra stops.

Build a construction buffer into departure planning
