Pre-arranged limousine pickup works differently from ride apps

ATL says limousine service must be arranged in advance. For domestic arrivals, a reserved chauffeur may meet inside near the atrium or use the lower-level curbside procedure described by the operator. International arrivals use the Arrivals level or outer curb depending on the service plan. Ask the operator to put the meeting method in writing. The useful question is not simply “where do limos pick up?” but whether your reservation uses an inside meet, curbside dispatch or another permitted handoff.

Treat domestic and international arrivals as different trips

The Domestic Terminal and International Terminal use different ground-transportation areas. A group arriving internationally can also need more time for immigration, baggage and group assembly, so waiting terms matter more than on a simple domestic arrival.

Plan downtown, Midtown and Buckhead by the actual deadline

Atlanta road conditions can change quickly around commute periods, events and convention schedules. Build the transfer backward from the hotel check-in, meeting, stadium event or flight deadline rather than relying on one generic airport-to-city estimate.

Match the vehicle to people and bags before price

A sedan can work well for one or two travelers. An SUV adds flexibility, but third-row use can reduce luggage room. Larger airport groups should compare Sprinter-style vans or other group vehicles by usable baggage space, not advertised seats alone.
